To use the Communication Plan Cost Calculator, follow these steps:

Step 1: Input Project Details

Fill in the required fields in the form provided by entering the necessary project details:

• Project Duration (in days): Enter the estimated duration of your project in terms of the number of days.
• Team Size: Specify the number of team members involved in the project.
• Communication Cost per Day: Input the estimated cost of communication per day, considering factors such as equipment, software, and other communication expenses.

Step 2: Calculate Click on the “Calculate” button to initiate the calculation process.

Step 3: View the Results The calculator will perform the following calculations using project management formulas:

• Total Communication Cost: The calculator multiplies the project duration, team size, and communication cost per day to determine the total cost of communication throughout the project.
  • Formula: Total Communication Cost = Project Duration x Team Size x Communication Cost per Day
• Key Communication Channels: Based on the team size, the calculator identifies the key communication channels for the project. The suggested channels are presented as a list. Note: The key communication channels mentioned in the code are examples. You can modify them based on your project’s requirements and preferred communication methods.
  • For example, let’s say the estimated cost of communication per day for your project is $75. In this case, you would enter “75” (without quotes) into the input box next to the “Communication Cost per Day” label.

The results will be displayed below the form in the “Results” section of the webpage.

You will see the total communication cost and the suggested key communication channels specific to your project.
